Tiles & material samples

Tile displays & material sample stands

Material samples should be easy to compare, remove and return. We plan stands and shelving for tiles, flooring and surface samples. The size, thickness and weight of each sample determine holders, spacing and construction.

Planning details

How we plan for your range.

01

Format and total weight

We need sample dimensions, thickness and individual weights together with the intended stock. Compartments, supports and footprint are designed around these details.

02

Access and comparison

Slots, angled shelves or movable sample holders are selected to suit the consultation process. Removal direction, hand clearance and room for comparison are part of the brief.

03

Edge protection and labelling

Dividers and holders should accommodate vulnerable edges. Item numbers and labels are positioned so samples can be returned to the correct location after use.

Frequently asked questions: Tiles & material samples

Can the display hold heavy tile and panel samples?

This is assessed against individual weights, stock, dimensions and location. Load capacity, stability and any required fixings must be specified before approval.

Can sample holders slide out or pivot?

Movable holders can be reviewed for the project. Weight, travel, access and fixings determine feasibility. Operation is checked against the agreed construction or sample.
